One fabric system, several outfits
The Sienna set uses the same verified 92% viscose / 8% spandex midweight jersey knit across its coordinated pieces. Keeping fibre blend and construction consistent reduces unexpected differences in colour depth, texture and movement between the outer cardigan and inner maxi dress.
Fabric science
Viscose is a regenerated-cellulose fibre. Spandex is an elastic polyurethane-based fibre. Jersey describes the knitted loop construction. Those three facts operate at different levels: fibre chemistry influences moisture and feel, spandex contributes elastic potential, and the jersey structure influences stretch, drape and air spaces in the finished fabric. Exact mechanical stretch cannot be calculated from the 8% spandex number alone.
Why a matching base layers more cleanly
The Sienna dress has short sleeves and a straight full-length silhouette, while the cardigan has relaxed wide long sleeves. That reduces the amount of fabric stacked through the sleeves and gives the outer layer room to fall cleanly.

Why fabric weight matters in a set
A coordinated set avoids pairing an extremely heavy outer knit with a very flimsy base or the reverse. Midweight does not mean a universal grams-per-square-metre value; it is a product description. The actual thermal result still depends on layers, fit and environment.
