Before Washing
- Check the sewn-in care label first.
- Close fastenings and turn delicate garments inside out where appropriate.
- Separate light, dark and strongly coloured items.
- Avoid washing delicate garments with rough hardware, hook-and-loop closures or abrasive items.
Care by Material or Finish
Silky Mechanical Polyamide
For Hazal Studios styles made from 100% Silky Mechanical Polyamide, use a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C or hand wash cold unless the garment label states otherwise. Use mild detergent, wash with similar colours, avoid bleach and fabric softener, use a short or low spin, do not wring, air dry in the shade and do not tumble dry. If ironing is needed, use a cool iron on the reverse side.
Viscose-Blend Knitwear
Use gentle handling and avoid high heat. Wash according to the garment label, use mild detergent and reshape carefully while drying to help preserve drape and dimensions. Heavier knitwear is often better stored folded where hanging could stretch the shoulders or length.
Modal Jersey Hijabs
Wash modal-jersey hijabs gently with mild detergent and similar colours. Avoid harsh bleach and excessive heat, which can affect softness and stretch. Air drying is preferred unless the care label states otherwise.
Embellished or Special-Finish Garments
Take extra care around embellishment, foil, decorative surfaces and delicate trims. Avoid rubbing, snagging or direct high heat. Follow the sewn-in care instructions for the specific item.
Storage
Store garments clean and dry, away from prolonged direct sunlight. Allow garments to dry fully before storing them and avoid prolonged compression of delicate embellishment or special finishes.
